- Multi-point dynamic calibration, 0.001 % resolution
- Smart idle cooling extends furnace life

Overview
The RI-IRS3600 determines total sulfur by infrared absorption after complete combustion at 1350 °C. Twenty-four samples load at once, and priorities can be changed dynamically — add, delete or insert samples at any time, and cycle-load for continuous operation.
A proprietary multi-point dynamic calibration (1st/2nd/3rd order selectable) keeps high, mid and low sulfur samples accurate on the same curve. The IR cell is built around internationally sourced key components for high stability and low drift, and smart power management drops to standby temperature automatically when idle.
Key Features
Purge-assisted combustion
Sample blow-purge accelerates complete burnout, so even high-ash coal reaches full conversion in 120 seconds.
Low-drift IR cell
Key optical and detector components sourced internationally; software + hardware self-diagnostics protect against drift and failure.
Gentle flexible drive feeding
Flexible transmission solves the industry-wide noise and dropped-crucible problems of rigid feeders.
LIMS-ready networking
Ethernet interface uploads results automatically and supervises the whole testing process.
